Recent Thread: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Selling/How-can-I-request-the-buyer-pay-extra-for-miscalculated-shippi...
Hello, everyone. I'd like to thank all the people involved in my case for their advice.
The Resolution
Even though I refunded the order, I didn't cancel it, so I decided to ship it anyway. I'll just consider it my stupid tax and move on.
What's important for me is establishing a reputation as an honest and responsible seller. Hopefully, down the line, I will also be an intelligent one. I'm going to study up more before I make a new listing.
God bless.

You are such a rare breed among newbies.
As I suggested in your other thread, I still think you should send a message to the buyer to let them what you did. Not only will it show how ethical you are but it won't stress the buyer wondering how to return an item for which they got a refund.
Good luck!

I did do that. The challenge is admitting to your mistakes while still trying to sound professional.

I've paid that "stupid tax", too! Only I like to call it "tuition" lol, that way I feel less diabolically silly over some of the mistakes I've made (and still make).
Good on ya and keep going!
