Undeserved negative feedback

I sold a ring and I strive to make my listings totally accurate, so I don't do refunds. This is clearly shown on all my listings. The buyer sent pics of the ring being slightly tight on her finger. It was the size I stated, if not just slightly larger, so tightness should not have been a problem if she'd known her size.

She requested a return, I politely refused. She left me negative. There goes my perfect score I've had for years, for something that was not even my fault. I left her a positive, but expressed that I could not recommend her as a buyer.

Ebay removed MY comment, and left her underserved negative.

So yeah, reputation shot. Thanks nasty buyer and ebay. First thing a buyer will see is that nasty negative now. Pretty sure I'm tired of giving ebay all the money for fees if they don't care about me as a seller.

Right it all depends how the buyer files the return if its INAD (item not as described) they would have denied you --- if its "I dont like it" then they side with the seller.

That must be iffy because I have seen that situation, I don't like it, listed on the Board and the case was found in favor of the buyer.

Re: Undeserved negative feedback

we can stop this with class action suit against ebay for allowing extorion , federal  commerce will get involved and congress can investgate unfair business practices by ebay, currently facebook, youtube, twitter and other are under federal investigation for anti trust violations

EBay CEO is under indictment? References please because I can’t find a source? Are you aware that libeling the CEO in a thread about feedback libel is bizarre?

Re: Undeserved negative feedback

I read threw your comments and I agree with you, what are some of these people saying? It makes no sense! I understand what they're saying but I dont get why buyers are so taken care of but as sellers, we are screwed!! Someone decides they just dont want something and they can get a return easy peezy! And send the item back worse than how they got it so it cannot be resold!! I dont do this to loose money!! I guess that's part of business and all but dang! And as for your feedback, I can say that I read people's fb and I weigh the good and the bad and even if someone has multiple negative fb, I see how much positive they have and if they have a lot of positive I figure the negative was just someone unhappy about something or whatever and pay no mind!! Most people understand that not everybody can be happy all the time!!! So try not to let that 1 comment affect you!! I got my first negative comment, she actually said I needed anger management!!! All because she made me a lowball offer, that I accepted, and then 2 weeks after not paying and I opened a case and she messaged me that she changed her mind and didnt want it anymore so I politely asked her to not make an offer if shes not sure she wants something. She said nasty things that really made me mad but I learned to just let the buyer change their minds and that's that!! Ebay cares for buyers not sellers!! In my opinion of course!!
