Yes. Hopefully you used an insured ship method. File a missing package claim. If you think it's worth it, file a package intercept to get it back if USPS ever finds it. It 's better than losing the item and all the money if it's pricey item. I had one once came back to me 2 months after a terrible hurricane. USPS had already paid me for the lost item and didn't want to be paid back. 😳 Your buyer is highly unlikely to wait very long to see if t shows up. They'll most likely file a claim if you don't refund if it's past the expected delivery date.

Not sure if it's coincidental or not, but I've had 3 packages sent to the Buffalo NY region that are all 9-days late and counting as we speak. I'm wondering if they got backed up due to the recent snowstorm and holidays?
BTW, I would expect slowdowns in So CA and lower Midwest due to weather.

If your shipment was fully insured you can make a claim against your selected carrier.
Years ago ( guess around 2014) shipped two packages, at different times but both went into the same sort center but never came out**, via USPS Priority Mail filed claims for lost item - was reimbursed for the full selling price and the cost of the shipping label. Don't sell any more and not certain what USPS loss policy is today - they seem be raising prices but still have larger operating losses than ever before
** took a poor ole Charlie ride on the MTA - a 1959 song by the Kingston Trio ( peppy guitar and banjo music and funny - liked it then as a teen and like it now - have the vinyl) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7Jw_v3F_Q0

Yes the seller is responsible.
I will be dealing with the same thing on Monday. I ordered a new laptop from Dell they shipped it with Pandion (never heard of them until now, and what I've heard isn't good) well they lost it. It's not my fault Dell didn't get the laptop to me.
