USPS First Class Calculated Shipping Not Correct Too Low

Anyone else having issues with USPS First Class not calc'ing correctly?  I use a business policy (which I've been using for months now previously without issue).  Last few orders yesterday and today, my customers are only paying $2.16 for what should be $4-5 expense.  Of course, I'm having to pay the correct price when I buy the label.  Not cool.  I've created a new policy, turned policies off, I can't get my USPS First Class listings to show the correct calculated shipping price.  Priority mail rates are working correctly.

Chatted with support.  The "envelope" value was coming from an old listing template.  Unfortunately, that field is not even available anymore to change, so I have to delete my templates and start over.  Support needed to update my existing listings from envelope to package as that field is no longer available through the user front-end.

Hi @cypress.grove

You must be choosing the wrong First Class Mail option when setting up your listings.   You need to choose First Class Mail Package.

Yup, what she said ^^^^.  That sounds like you're choosing a flat, instead of a package.  You need to choose FC PACKAGE rate.

ETA:  Is your ID a place?  There's a song I love called Cypress Grove, never could figure out what it was about though, which is common theme with that band (Clutch).

The shipping calculator is charging your buyers for a First Class flat (AKA Large envelope) rather than for a package. But I cannot figure out how to change that on the horrible new listing form.

It's still First Class, but it's FC PKG or Large Envelope, NOT FC Flat.

Right - those fields are gone!  There is no way to pick envelope or package anymore.  It's just defaulting everything to envelope.

LOL.  Cypress Grove is a place, but not the kind of place that I think Clutch would be writing about.  It's a condo community in Florida.  I don't even live there anymore, but i'm sorta stuck with it now.  🙂
