I have 2 packages I shipped USPS on 11/2 that show they were delivered today 11/5?? One was to N.J. and the other to FL.. Is USPS delivering on Sunday already for the Holiday season or what is going on?

Maybe they were mixed in with a bunch of Amazon shipments by mistake.

I've read that carriers will deliberately take non-Amazon packages along on Sunday, to make their Monday delivery load a bit lighter. I've gotten non-Amazon USPS deliveries on Sundays, too, in the Boston area.

Agreed; it sounds like they're figuring. "What the heck, let's get these packages out of here since we're going that way anyway." It's a safe bet that no one's going to complain about getting their packages a day early. I saw a USPS truck roaming our neighborhood last Sunday too.

I'm going to give my clerk at the post office a little ---- tomorrow as to why we don't get Sunday delivery~~I'm in a little town in the middle of nowhere with a poulation of around 500. I know why but I just want to hear what he has to say.

Possibly getting ready for the holidays?
A tad early, but that's ok.

We have seen mail trucks out for at least the last year on sundays.
Not junk mail, thinking more like packages.

Same here as what Dave said.
I've been seeing USPS trucks delivering packages on Sunday for quite awhile.
I never used to though, so it must be a fairly new thing.
