UGH hate hate hate the new version

I set up a 3rd selling account to sell family and friends items. This account is the "new" ebay version that in my opinion should be trashed. I have only listed and sold 2 items in the last year or so on this account. Trying to list a few items today. Where oh where is the option to do a fixed price 30 day auction???. I can't figure this out. Help !! Please!!

Do you have an option on your listing form to switch to business tool (or something like that) which should give you the advanced listing form.

Not sure what you are asking, but there is NO version of ebay in which you can list an item for a fixed price for 30 days. That has been gone for a while now. Fixed price listings have only one duration: GTC (Good Till Cancelled).  If you want a listing to end on the 30th day, you will have to manually end it.

They have gone to fixed price listed until it sells or you end it.

"Fixed price format: Good ’Til Canceled. This means that the item will be relisted every month until it’s sold or until you end the listing"

Again, running new version of ebay when trying to sell. There is no "fixed price GTC " format option .(( In my book GTC equals 30 days. )) I just checked for the 5th time. I can only do auction and if I want, add the buy it now option.  I've toggled the switches on, off, up, and down and still no fixed price option to be found.

@cobaltblue2019. It sounds like you are using the quick listing form.   On the upper right when you create a listing select switch to business form then you'll have all of the options

Yes, I do have the business tools option. When I clicked on it I got the message that if I am not a high volume seller it is best to not use business tools!!  I do not consider myself to be high volume so I chose to "stay put"  Will try that again. Thank you all.

@cobaltblue2019. Just ignore the warning.   You'll be fine.  🙂

Business option worked. Thank you. Now, anyone know why my buyers do not see both shipping options that I offer? I add both ground and priority to my auctions but it seems only ground shows up as that is my first choice entered when listing. Possibly losing sales because people want the item quicker. Is it just me? It always seems to be just me, LOL.

@cobaltblue2019   Ebay hides shipping options if they think that item can be delivered for less in the same amount of time.

On this item you have retail ground which is a shipping method that can only be purchased at the post office

If you want to offer two options then select parcel select ground and priority.  Chances are there will not be much of a difference in the shipping price though.

I would also not want to ship anything ground right now if I could help it as those are the shipments that will be delayed.

You can compare the shipping price between parcel select and retail ground here>

Priority does come with $50 insurance but you do have to still make sure you pack like gorillas will play with the box.
