Hello. I hope someone out there in eBay community can help me. I’ve had an eBay account for years but never sold anything on the platform- only made purchases. A few months ago, I decided I wanted to sell an item so I attempted to create a listing. During the verification process, my dumba** thought I’d give it a try uploading my expired ID and I figured the worst that could happen is that it would be rejected. Well, it was rejected and not accepted and then a week or so later after i went to the DMV and took care of my license situation, I made another attempt at verifying. I have made like 50 attempts and every time I upload exactly what they request (bank statement, etc.) it is literally exactly what they are asking for but they do not lift the suspension. This has been an issue for a few months and I still haven’t given up. I have spoken to like 50 different eBay representatives thru support and no one gets back to me. Finally, I spoke to a lady and she said “I believe it’s because ok your profile it has your entire middle named spelled out and on your license, it’s just the middle initial.” So I went to fix that but it’s still suspended. I don’t even have a link to upload documents to verify anymore. Everyone I speak to (mostly chat or email) always say they’re goin to get back to me and they never do and they even claim to have escalated the matter.
