Trouble

I am in a big trouble.

I listed an item https://www.ebay.com/itm/152836405492

now my item is sold, but this item is not such like I can ship to the given address.

I am selling digital services which can be done digitally mean I can provide the theme to buyer via mail or via attachment. It not require to deliver in shipment service.

But I don't know about it. Now I got an order and they are telling me to ship, but how can I ship?

Please help me to list properly to digitally selling items, and also help me to cancel this order, because buyer already paid to me on my paypal address.

Reply asap

Thanks.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

You don't need to cancel......

Just go to your Sold list, on the right there should be a pull-down, one of the choices is "mark as shipped".

^^  Given that this is a digital item and there is nothing to ship, that would be improper.

You mean shipped isn't the same thing as delivered?

I am not absolutely positive about what you are required to select for didigtal services when it comes to delivery method, but I am almost positive that because your listing states Standard Shipping, that this is reason that eBay is requiring you to ship. This is what I see when I look at your listing here in the USA.

See the policy linked above.

See the policy linked above.

I have read the policy twice and I could still be missing it, but the policy does not appear to give a potential seller of digital goods, guidlines for what to select with regards to delivery options, when they are creating a listing.  I do not deal in digital goods so I am not sure if they are given different options for delivery method where a regular seller  who is offering a tangible products whould normaly select their shipping services.

But I am fairly certain that the reason that the OP is now being prompted by eBay to ship something is because in this instance they are infact offering "Standard Shipping" within their listings.

An option for the OP as a "one time solution" for this current predicament might be to ship the customer a post card with tracking.  But after that I would suggest the OP figure out how eBay works with regards to the selling and delivering of digital services, otherwise they might find themselves in a mess real quick.

Exactly, because they can't be shipped and can't be listed in the normal section where shipping is possible.  They have to be listed as classified ads.

That makes sense.

I see ALOT of sellers offering eBooks and or eBook collections shipped to the USA on a thumb drive within the book category all of the time.

This of course is not legal in any way shape or form. These listings just add more clutter and chaos to a category that already has 66 MILLION listing. I always report the item when I come across them, but this is eBay so I never hold my breath.
