A woman ordered LIVE tropical fish from me. They were delivered Friday morning. She went away for the weekend and left fish outside 3 days. She gets home and gives me bad review. Ebay won't remove neg comment...NOT MY FAULT.

Incorrect negs happen sometimes.
But you did it right, in my opinion.
You keep your reply to the neg, very factual and professional.
I do, see, you ran out of room to finish saying the word "days" at the end of your reply.
You could have wrote days, if you had not used the entire word "and" , instead using the "&" symbol for it instead.
See?
Thanks

Well I hope you put her on your blocked buyers list. I don't think she needs to be owning fish. I feel bad for the fish. Maybe require a signature from now on? This might prevent animals from being left outside to die. Really is neglect on both of you here. I mean when you think about it, if they were left outside for an afternoon in 100 degree temps would they survive that? I don't know, just seems cause for concern to have a live animal of any kind dropped at a door without anyone accepting it.

I agree with you. You would think the buyer would realize that on their own. What exactly did they expect as long as the delivery was within the ETA on the purchase record. If it arrived late, then that would be different.
What was the delivery window on this purchase? Was it late?
You should really have a disclaimer in your listings for live stuff. Something to say your method of shipment and buyers need to make sure they are available during that period to receive the package and get the fish into their tanks or ponds, whichever is appropriate. And say something that they have a limited life span in the shipping packaging.
I'm tagging this thread to see if there is any possibility of getting you some help as it does seem to be unfair if the buyer wasn't available to receive the time sensitive shipment.

Did she tell you that she went away for 3 days leaving the fish outside?

@mam98031 @mibea27 I reviewed the messages and, while I can't go into details, this isn't a feedback that qualifies for removal. You can work with your buyer to see if they'd be willing to revise the feedback.

no different than animal abuse in my book. wish someone would leave her outside and forget about her for three days. you think she would get the message.
