Has anyone else been getting a lot of negative feedback from customers for an item not fitting them? I sell clothes. Used and new. I try to be as honest as possible and list defects and NOW always measurements. I have had 2 return requests today simply because "the item doesn't fit me like my other items". They blame me for the shirts being too tight or too short even after I sent them measurements. Then on feedback they say item is not as described! This isn't fair. I lose my top seller status because people don't want to admit they are too big for the items they bought. If a shirt says XL or whatever size on the tags, that's all I can go by! Please tell me am I the only one that is getting mistreated like this for a $6 shirt?

Always Include measurements in the photos. Include the line in the description, to "see photos for measurements". Also include the measurements in the item specifics when you can.

Why not offer a return policy to give them the opportunity to return by picking an honest reason? No one likes getting returns, but you can specify they pay the return shipping to lessen the hit.

You offer free returns, so don't know how you're getting mistreated.
I can try 5 different shirts, same kind, size and brand and they'll all fit different.

I pulled up one listing & it had no returns, so I guess I found the only one.🫤

Tough category. Clothes are the most returned items on the planet.

Not sure who told you life was fair?
That aside, accurate measurements, descriptions and quality photos, can only help you. The smallest flaw, even if you think it’s no big deal, take photos of it. The most minimal flaw can cause the wrong person to come in and try to make life miserable, as it sounds like you’re already experiencing.
30 day free returns will stop most from leaving neutral or negs. You are giving the buyer a piece of mind by offering this. So this should be a given in this saturated clothing market.
$6 isn’t enough to complain about for many, but for some, that’s all they have. And if they feel you’re being deceptive or unprofessional, they will say something.
Just checking out a couple of your items, they were confusing or conflicting. You list a size 10 pants with item specifics saying waist is 31” but in description waist is 12”. Could be typo? But both I checked out were like this. Rise photo, can’t tell what it reads because your hand is in the way. Not able to see where you are starting or finishing measurements. Photos were dark or had shadows.
Ask yourself, would you buy from you with the limited information in your photos/descriptions? 🤔 Do you purchase items from places or people who only accept returns? As a seller, it’s good to put yourself in the buyers shoes.
Wishing you many better days and less hassles in 2024!

You are not being “mistreated”. It is the nature of doing business.

I'm not sure I understand your situation. I looked at your listings and saw 30 Day Returns, Seller Pays for Return Shipping. Are you saying that instead of taking advantage of that policy, buyers open INAD cases and leave negative feedback? If so, you have a right to complain.
Sorry to say, though, the complaint won't change anything because it's pretty much business as usual in selling, especially in selling clothing. You sell in a category with a lot of returns, and that's the case whether people buy on-line or in-person (ask anyone who works in a brick-and-mortar!).
Sorry, I know that's not particularly useful but it's all I have.
