I sell 99% sports trading cards on eBay and my sales, and item views are way down this week. I feel like the item specific and category debacles are to blame. I am typically very consistent with sales and I list new items almost daily until....Monday hit. I have had nothing but issues since; and like I said, big time drop in sales.
I also buy sport cards on eBay and have not been buying at all this week because I cannot search for the items like I normally do, let me elaborate- I have some "go to" sellers that I buy from, when I go to their stores, there is no longer an option to sort/filter by sports card category, I only buy basketball cards, so I cannot go through every item in someone's store when 75+ % of it is of not interest to me. So frustrating.

This is a nightmare. I only have a little less than 200 listings and I can't find a solution to make the needed changes (the Excel download/upload hack doesn't work). I think I'm going to delete ALL of my listings and start over. I can't imagine what big stores are dealing with.

I can't even add a new listing. Haven't been able to add any for the past 5 days. This is a headache.

I do experience ups and downs over time, but the last five days, since the category debacle, have almost flat lined. Not a long enough time to see how bad it will actually be, but............
This screwup, by eBay is going to cost sellers and eBay big time.
Hopefully they will see the error of their ways and correct it ASAP.
Unfortunately I have yet to see them undo anything they've bungled before.

The second they melded ALL trading cards into a single category this week, I stopped searching and buying. I refuse to pour through hundreds of items that aren’t baseball cards. It was already hard enough finding what I wanted before. Now it’s annoyingly time consuming and almost impossible. I’m done buying baseball cards on here.

So I sort of found a solution to revising many listings at once, using the free until June 30th Optiseller Aspect Finder + tool, you can edit up to 200 items at the same time on the same screen (desktop).
But I have NOT found a solution to my sales being WAY DOWN still since these changes. Now all of my items are edited with the “required” and “required soon” item specifics, and like 80+% of the “recommended” ones....and sales still very slow. THIS part is what makes me think eBay made a stupid move. People (us) complain about changes all the time, but this time it has to be costing eBay money. I have not heard any one selling cards say that their sales are way up since last week. My moving average month is down 40% the seller hub says. That’s significant, and I’m active and always listing, always revising, etc.

yep, i do collectible cards but its the same mess in that category since the change. Sales are down 50% or more. Plus i can't edit or list anything unless i want to put the condition as used. Who wants a "used" trading card? They tell me its a priority they are working on fixing when i call but its been a week now and its clearly killing multiple categories.

Of Course Sales are Down as no one has time to buy, everyone is working on the FOOLISH Project of adding specifics- It will be this way for weeks

Agreed, sales and traffic are way down. About a 20% drop since the 'improvements'.
Plus I have spent about 10 hours today trying to update the 30000 listings I have on eBay. Half way done.
Do they do any beta testing before rolling out these changes or ask anyone who actually uses the site before rolling in these changes?
