Tracking uploaded late

My seller rating was just updated.  Post office was closed on 12/5/18 for President Bush (41) funeral.  All the items I sold on 12/4 and could not mail until 12/6 where indicted uploaded late by eBay.  When I call they say they will correct but not until 1-15-2019.  Why publish report if they are not accurate?  Why so long to correct their mistake?

I also got hit with a number of late tracking on this date. I was wondering, do we need to call eBay to correct, or are they updating everyones tracking who was marked tracking posted late on the date of the funeral being corrected on 1/15/19? Thank you.

Why can't we get an answer if we need to call about the problem, or if ALL will be fixed on 1/15??????? Stupidity!

You are wrong. You are a seller, you have no rights, or appeals process on ebay. ebay does not care who you are, or what you have done, or how you can prove it beyond a reasonable doubt. The buyer is the jury and ebay is the executioner. If the curator of the Smithsonian says something is real and the buyer says it is not, ebay will listen the the buyer and charge the Smithsonian for original and return shipping and take another 4% of their gross sales in the future for being a bad seller compared to their peers. I'm going to stop reading your posts if you don't start writing something helpful instead of pasting the same rant on every OP's posts. You have a good mind so use it for helping the OPs. Seriously.

I normally don't write answers when I see your ID because I know you have most likely given excellent information. However, after reading the last 5 OPs and all that was there was your rantings without any type of helpful info, I may have to change that.

If  one has a legitimate unresolved issue call eBay and hold their feet to the fire.  If calling is a major issue for anyone then the  issue isn't  as big as it appears.

Unfortunately the rants seem to fit the post.
But then again I am just a seller.
I am trying to voice my opinion that it seems that no matter what we do or say ebay does not care.
I have been trying to add some helpful information but it has been moved to the seller discussion.

As long as all adjsutments are made prior to  01/20/19 no need to worry, it won't make any difference in your current seller status - unless you made some other eBay selling faux pas. 

What you are seeing is a  projected seller  status based on "bad info".  On Jan. 20th and  the  20th of every month after that sellers evaluations are determined for the next period (~30 days).   If this specific issue is not corrected on the 15th - raise  hell with eBay on the 16th (hint: call early the phoen lines will be full for  certain).  Unfortunately,  I have none to worry about - but that is what I would do.

eBay  has about  25 million sellers (as of 2015) no current data on sellers in 2016 - 2018.  If the folks taht  called in to day to get a  correct answer - teh problem would be fixed for all folks but it seems they  need 9 more days to  "git 'er dun"

My late tracking ding was fixed today. Havent called or anything. So hopefully they get to everyone soon.

I'm not saying that your rant wasn't good. But when you keep pasting it on every OP's post it becomes annoying to read over and over. The main point was that most OPs are asking for some type of help and none of yours offered any.

I've read many of your comments and you are able to be helpful, and that was why it was so disappointing to keep reading the same rant on every other OP's posts.

I'm a seller too. I have another store as well that I've had a lot longer than this one. This past year has been a nightmare for me as for as making any money here. I have actually paid out more than I made. Not too happy about that either. The other store carries me through as for paying for both stores because it has higher dollar item which means I don't have to sell as many items. But I try to remember that other sellers are still needing assistance regardless of how my sales are going and not let it get in the way of being helpful to them. Good luck to you.
