I had this happen to me on an order that was shipped on 4/23 and delivered on 4/26. USPS tracking shows all the movement and delivery. Ebay shows nothing. I sent a message on FB and this is what I was told:
"When it comes to tracking uploaded on time and validated defects, these can fluctuate a bit since these, in particular, are defects assessed based on many other carriers reporting in, and how our sites talk. Sometimes defects show, and then fall off. Sometimes a defect will be triggered by the system due to the system not receiving info from the carrier by a particular time, and then it shows up later. Once the system catches up with the new info received, the defect typically falls off withing 24-48 business hours. That's why, with these specifically, there's a built-in variance of 5%, and a team that can manually remove in defects incorrectly assessed or caused by wide scale service disruptions. Since the variance exists, the review team will only remove them manually if they are causing the seller to lose their seller status. If not, the variance that's built-in acts as the buffer that is usually more than sufficient."
Since my defect rate is very low (this in the only one), they did nothing, and the defect is still showing in my account.
EDIT: they did say that I would win an INR, since USPS shows delivered.
