Did you mean:

Too many changes.

Maybe I  am just to old for change, but these new layouts have me totally irratated.   Things used to be so simple, look down the selling and see your items and then the ones that were sold.  The tracking numbers used to work and now I can click on them forever and nothing opens like before.  I just don't see the need for such complicated selling pages with endless choices you hope are the right ones, and sometimes aren't. Newer is not always better, I wish they would have left it alone.

Re: Too many changes.

@odinbobby

I understand the frustration

I work in IT and things are always evolving and changing and not always for the better, sometimes just because it is "popular"

I suggest to just hang in there and let the changes happen and try your best to adhere to them and then let things revolve semi back  to where they were.

There is not much we can do with changes to the platform but giving up please do not do

In this time of Iot (internet of things) change is inevitable but not always for the best but it will change semi back when the change is finally considered not so productive

Re: Too many changes.

Agreed, change is not necessarily better but it is inevitable. You can't stop change. You should learn to adapt.

@odinbobby

    That's just part of being human. I cannot name one person that I know who welcomes a dramatic change in their lives. But nothing stays the same. People move, people die, people get divorced, people get married and the list goes on.

     It's ok not to like change as we  humans have to skills to adapt. We somehow are getting thru Covid and that social distance thing and for those of us that survived well changes to EBay seem smaller in comparison.

What is 'to (sic) old'?

So true.

Seems like websites, in general these days are like a mangled complex mess. The KISS principle has been forgotten.

Re: Too many changes.

@odinbobby  - I'm teasing you a bit (I'm an olde farte) - yes, there's a lot of change, but take things one step at a time.  Honestly, anything is doable one step at a time.

@shag182

Maybe I am just too old for memes, but these old worn-outs have me totally irritated.

@silverstatetreasureboxes@coastaltechsolution

Gotta admit... 'Naval to navel' was fresh and timely and had me totally entertained. 🤣

Re: Too many changes.

@odinbobby

I liked the "classic" view.

Along came GTC.  "Classic" view did not work well with my fixed price GTC  "multiple quantity" listings where I used the "out of stock" (OOS) option.

Off I went to the "sellers hub".  The "real" sellers hub with lots of squares that can be "customized". Not the seller's hub "all selling" view with 3 squares..

The "real" seller's hub works well for me. I'm old. Don't like change, but do what is needed to make it work for me.

Everything I need is on the "real" seller's hub. I have the things I need arranged right at the top.  Tasks, orders, listings.

Go to my "all orders".  Click on the tracking. Left click to see what eBay knows. Right click for sometimes "more up to date" status.

The less often viewed stuff is lower.

hub setup.jpg

More clicking, and opening windows than "classic", but what I need can be found there.

I kicked, and screamed (look back at my posts 2+ years ago), but now it is just second nature to click, and do what I need to do.

Re: Too many changes.

I like change. I now keep all packing material in the fridge. My telephone is on the roof. My desk is in the driveway. Now I just gotta remember where I put my computer.
