Tip - How to 'Remove' or Mitigate eBay Sponsored Links

For those of you struggling with eBay's sponsored links that not only take up a great deal of real estate, distract buyers, and lures them away to auctions with the same or similar items,  try this trick ...

What creating the content for your listing wrap up your closing sentence and hold the enter key down for a count of 5-10 or more seconds.  This will create white space between your item description and push eBay's sponsored links so far down the page that no one will bother scrolling down to see them.

Except that most of the time I see other items being promoted below the item photo and above the item description, including when I click on one of your listings.

And buyers won't bother to scroll all the way down to find the "Ask the Seller a Question" link either.

(Could be good --- could be bad)

And one little twitch of a finger on the app for android makes your description look like this

When you pay for your store and then they take a cut of your sale how can they advertise the competition???????????

Does UBlock work?  Ad Block seems stymied.

So tired of being jerked around.........offer 30 day returns, offer free shipping, offer guaranteed shipping, where is it going to end?????????

Yep - that is what I see too - the "promo" listings are above your own description box - guess they thought that one through. Don't be too upset - I remember when ebay used "promo" items in the "see other seller items" - image my surprise to see cute little Cherished teddies bear figures among the half naked asian women in skippy tongs and see-thru "teddies" - that P.O. ed me something awful!
