So I created some listings not too long ago, and saved them to my drafts t add them at the beginning of the month. I received a listing promotion from Ebay, and decided to go ahead and list several of them. When I would click on them, an error message kept showing up, so I called the wonderful Ebay customer service. Well, the CS Rep. had to go "Investigate the situation", because he really didn;t know why they were doing that. He got back on the phone and informed me that they were "Too old". Since they were older then 15 days, they are no longer valid. What a crock!!!! I don't know if the CS Rep was feeding me a line of **bleep** (WHICH THEY DO MORE TIMES THEN NOT), or if this is a actual policy, but either way it is a crock of **bleep**, and you would think that Ebay would like for their sellers to have listings available and allow them to save drafts for long periods of time.

I thought it was 30 days, but haven't tried saving any lately.

Don't know if you're using Seller Hub but nearly unlimited drafts through Seller Hub are good for 45 days and there' a work-around to keep them active indefinitely.

Drafts are quirky at best. Anything I want to save for the future gets copied and pasted into a text file. I usually save the Title, Condition description, Description text (for reference) and Description HTML (for pasting into an auction later on). Photos are also saved on my local drive. It takes an extra minute or two but can save a lot of time down the road.

I have been using Seller Hub since near its inception and for the past year, my experience has been that drafts are no longer viable after 10 days...cannot be edited/cannot be completed/cannot be used...
They now show the original date the draft was created plus last updated date...

How long drafts are saved seem to be a "hit n miss" time limit.
Wife's account had 99 drafts saved to be used as needed rotating items in and out when needed. Looked about 3 days ago for some items, and only 33 were left.
Makes no sense.
We have about 1000 items to sell on our accounts. Not all up at the same time. I can't remember everything that we have. It makes it very difficult to keep track of inventory when drafts are deleted, and much additional work recreating them.
The CSR that told you 15 days was pulling that # out of their _________ (fill in the blank with your preferred location.) We presently have some from Sept 2nd.

The only method I have found to save drafts for any longer durations, is to edit them every week...what a pain that is!
So glad that ALL of my item listings are also on other selling venues!!

In my experience any draft older than 30 days is at risk of going away. The strange thing is that purges of older drafts happen with no regularity at all. Some drafts can go 60+ days in the system and then one morning everything is gone older than 30 days.

That is what we have been doing, and what I was about to do. That's when I found a big chunk missing:) Some will be an easy fix. Some will take time.
