TikTok Issues

Whenever I try yo list a TikTok item for sale I get an error message saying it cannot list because of Ebay restrictions or a restriction on my account.  Any ideas why.  I do not have any restrictions.  Does Ebay not allow the sale of tiktok items??

After reading the links provided and doing a little research.  All of my sales and selling are above board.  I was inquiring why TikTok items were not allowed and now I know.  All of my items are purchased by me and sent to customers direct.   Which according to Ebay is allowed...

All of the companies you mentioned are public marketplaces, you are taking orders from eBay customers and THEN placing orders with Ali etc. (none of which are true wholesalers).

What you are doing is the very definition of "retail arbitrage". It doesn't even matter if it's against policy, you will end up losing money and probably get suspended when your seller metrics get really bad (which they will).

You buyers are going to be doing even more claims for:

Item Not Recieved

Damage In Transit

Wrong Item Sent

I would guess that any online stuff you read about success with Auto DS is all fake.

You missed (or ignored)  the very next part of the rules:

"However, listing an item on eBay and then purchasing the item from another retailer or marketplace that ships directly to your customer is not allowed on eBay." (emphasis added)

"Amazon, Ebay, Ali Express, ... TikTok, ... etc"*. are all considered to be "another retailer or marketplace" so by definition, they are NOT "a wholesale supplier" and you are not allowed to use them to source for drop-shipping.

This is not a debate, and eBay doesn't care how you want to interpret their rules. Stop trying to be clever. The only interpretation of eBay rules that matters is eBay's interpretation, and they have made it clear (to everyone here who is trying to warn you) that they don't want "sellers" sourcing from places like that*.

It makes buyers really mad, and eBay wants sellers who make buyers happy. eBay will very happily shove you under the bus if you don't.

Yes, if you go through a wholesale company, you can use them to dropship.

TicToc, Aliexpress, Amazon, Temu and other retail sites are not wholesale and can't be used to dropship.
