So, I had a terrible experience with eBay Authenticate as I am now finding a lot of other sellers have similar experienced according to various blogs. After I sent in my purse and the item was posted, I had several concerns that I sent to eBay Authenticate. A person named Terrie responded saying that they were the project manager. In the end, due to my complaints, Terrie decided to fire me, remove the listing and send my purse back to me rather than address the concerns.

Hello,
I sent a PRADA “Papaya” Nylon Quilted Tessuto Impuntu Pattina Crossbody Bag in for authentication recently and have some concerns over the listing.
1 – The title of the listing posted by you is “PRADA Orange Nylon Quilted Crossbody Bag”. No where in the title does it reference “Papaya”, “Tessuto”, “Impuntu” or “Pattina”.
2 – The first four pictures have apparently been edited such that the item appears to be bright orange rather than Papaya in color. If you look at other listings for this same handbag, you will see that this one is far too orange and doesn’t represent the actual color.
3 – In picture 5 showing the inside of the handbag, there appear to be two black threads or something else in the bottom of the bag that make it appear to have significant ink markings inside the bag. It will never sell if someone thinks that the bag has been damaged with ink markings inside the bag.
4 – There are no pictures showing the handbag with the original tags, certificate of authenticity, original box that was included or the dust cover.
5 – I am genuinely concerned that eBay are using a seller who have multiple negative feedbacks citing poor communication, item not as described and shipping to the wrong address and with missing parts. This will also affect the ability to sell the item.
Please advise on what you plan to do to resolve these issues.

Many of us on the Fashion Board tried to warn people about this mess long before it was actually up and running.
Many also guessed who he seller would be. Sells loads of fakes on all acounts and has for a long time.

So they don't just "authenticate" the bag, they actually take over all the listing as well?
Just ebay valet in disguise then.
Yup, and this is the same company that has a long history of listing fakes, not showing enough pictures in listings, editing images so items aren't accurately shown, being unresponsive to communication attempts.

???
I reread the original post and couldn't find anything that implied the OP thought s/he was addressing eBay.
I agree that rather than addressing ebay, the OP is posting a public service announcement.

I'm not sure I understand. The person selling the eBay Authenticate goods, or running the program, or whatever s/he's doing, has been selling fakes for a long time? Was this person actually selected by eBay? How does that happen?

The seller is an Ebay Valet seller. The negs are so numerous that you wouldn't have enough time in a day to look at them all.
They've been selling fakes for as long as I can remember.

Wonder if this is the only ID in the "Authenticate" program? ???

The first ID seems to no longer be selling. The second ID is now selling the "authenticated" bags.
I wouldn't trust them to authenticate a grocery bag.

It isn't just 1 seller
If you do a search for say hermes purse then try parada on the left side just check mark to search Authenticity verified
And this program has been expanded to other categories
per ebay here is how sellers are picked

Who are the eBay Authenticate sellers?
eBay Authenticate sellers are a select group of our top sellers; whose authentication capabilities or products have been rigorously vetted by independent experts

And therein lies the rub. No one has vetted the independent experts.

How did they fire you?You were not working for them.If you get your bag back as you sent the fact that they based on your concerns decided not to handle the listing is a valid decision. They run their business as they are comfortable with
