They Broke eBay - How Sad

Although I realize that titles like this will inevitably draw out those who feel that it's their duty to not only defend eBay, but even blame sellers for doing something wrong, then so be it. We know who you are due to your condescending consistency.

Yet, this year is shaping up to be the beginning of the end for eBay. What caused them to try to change so many aspects of eBay's front-end and back-end systems? Greed perhaps. Or maybe desperation, in an attempt to stop the bleeding of lost year-over-year market share. Their motivation to add PL coupled with a revised definition of impressions shows that they no longer care about sustainable sellers, let alone the overall effect on fair market values of resold goods.

This current system has only one outcome, which is to drive sales by price competition. This includes parading identical items with lower prices in front of buyers AFTER they made their purchase. It's no wonder why cancelations are up and sales are down. All of this ocurring during a time when eBay is losing over a million sellers each year since 2018, all the while it's competitors are gaining sellers and market share. The writing is on the wall.

It's called a preface. That's what they've come to expect.

Yes, you are great at slinging mud at various poster, but not so good at backing it up with actual proof.

ALL Ebay employees that post inside the Community are WELL labeled with the Ebay logo and their entire post is outlined in Blue.  Which is where the nickname came from referring to them as Blues.

You have a myopic view of the Community because of your deep dislike and disrespect for Ebay.  I get it that Ebay does make some members very mad.  Especially when accounts get restricted for one reason or another coupled with the belief that their rules are all wrong.

While I by no stretch of the imagination like every rule Ebay has.  Some get upset with rules that have good reason for existing.  I don't know what happened to you, nor do I need to know.  I assume nothing about you.  I only go by what you post.  Yet you assume stuff about others that you neither know to be fact or can prove, just because you don't like Ebay.  I would bet if you set that aside, you would have a lot to offer in the various threads you participate in.

No, it is call qualifying their post and an attempt to dismiss anyone's post that may disagree with what they have to say.

If we were all like minded, imagine how little we would learn and how boring the world would be.
