Twice in the last week I’ve had items sell for less than their purchase price! I do not have any discounts enabled nor did I accept a best offer on either item. I also do not “send offers” on these items! I have also not entered into any type of discount program.
It is terrifying to know that eBay can randomly change item prices with absolutely no notice to the Seller. This is also problematic because now if either of the buyers attempts a repeat purchase at a later date they will assume I’ve raised the price!
I already have the lowest price on these items and my profit margin is extremely thin. I don’t need eBay’s help losing money on their site. I’m very capable of doing that myself, thank you very much!
Watch your orders VERY CAREFULLY! You could easily miss this egregious oversight by eBay if you’re in a hurry or have several orders to process!
Scary stuff!

No, I’ve never seen that. But, if you have ever sent an offer in the past you may have inadvertently selected to send offers automatically and now buyers are buying.

You may want to check in your active listing in the search tab and select the drop down menu to show listings with automatic offers so you can turn them off.

Are you using promoted listings?

No offense to you, but I doubt this is happening.
Of course there is no way for you to prove it and no way for me to disprove it.
But thanks for the heads up.
I will take the appropriate action.

No I am not.

If this is your selling ID, which items sold for less?
