I have recently become a TRS. My first month was pretty good and sales were up. Then towards the end of my second month, I was informed by ebay that my account was compromised and sales have been down as much as 45% since then. I am doing everything the same as I always have, and when taking to customer service reps they say that it is just that time of year that sales are slow. I also had my first neg feedback from a brand new buyer. The feedback was more of a product review then my job as a seller. I did everything I can, including refunding and offering to replace the broken item, and ebay still states that they will not remove the neg feedback.
I have all my listings promoted, so ebay is making more money on my sales then I am, and now with the neg feedback sales will slack even a little more. Is TRS worth staying on ebay? At this point I'm not so sure since I am not even selling 2% of my total inventory per month. I would think with a platform this large that I would be able to sell at least 5% of my inventory monthly. Very discouraged by the way things are going.

24 of your lsitings are for USB hubs and chargers.
There somewhere around 750,000 listings on eBay for those items.
What is it about your listings that you think should make them consistently stand out from the rest?

This is the slow time of the year for most things.....no doubt about it.
Looking at your items sold in feedback.....most seem under $10 and a good number around $5.......with free shipping. I know quantity sales.......but wonder if those are worth it after the fees............ I might try to list a bit more expensive things........ Of course, you know your situation and I don't, so certainly your call........
Not sure what you mean is TRS worth staying on ebay....... I'd just say that you need to understand that sales are going to be up and down in any business, anywhere....ask any friend in a B & M.

Yep. I've been working B&M retail for years and the number one rule is that the only consistent thing about sales is their INconsistency.

I have to agree with you 100% .There is never anything certain when you are selling to the public. Sales go up and down .It's a fact of life in the fast lane!
