TEXT Me SCAM

So this is the 3rd time this has happened to me this month...someone makes an offer and says text me for payment to avoid ebay fees. Each time I get to angry to save the sellers name and message because I waNt to immediatly react and tell them they are being sneaky and I am not falling for it. Been on ebay selling for over 10 years and maybe have only had this happen one other time years ago. Anhyone else seeing this trend happening to them ? And how do I report it next time it does

That is absolutely ridiculous with this increase of bottom feeders... your account and items for sale would give me no indication of a scam magnet. Report the messages and send to spoof@ebay.com or click on the security center and report there...you can find security center at the bottom of this forum on main page or on your own ebay page. Don't reply to them as they are just scum of the earth and they know they are because they don't work for a living and just steal from others! (I must be in a naughty mood today! 😆)

They are not even members many times. Guests can 'ask questions'  too. Since you are not a new seller and not selling the typical 'scam' items, the scam is getting you to purchase a $500 gift card' and they'll pay you for both the card and a jacket or? It's difficult to report, and there's so many being done, doubtful anyone has time to deal with it. Just 'buyer/seller beware'.
