Does having a store Really benefit you?
I really don't see any meaningful benefits of having a store.
Is spending about $30/month or $360/year worth it? .....I think not.

It is all about the numbers. You get a certain amount of free listings for your monthly payment, and other store benefits, including vacation settings. You get different free listing offers than those without stores - sometimes better, sometimes not. It depends on how many items you list whether it is worth your while. Different levels of stores have different benefits. You have to do the math.

We all just have to do the math to decide. In your situation I see you have over 750 items listed. Are you able to sustain that with free promos or are you paying listing fees? If you have to pay the fees to list 700 (-50 freebies), then it would definitely be worth it to open a store for that reason alone.

RE: Does having a store Really benefit you?
Even though there are benefits to having a store, if you are not selling enough merchandise monthly to offset fees and make a profit, then having a store is not a benefit. This is just my personal opinion.

Obviously, the more you list the more chance you have to sell. Of course, if you list the same items as 5000 others and have the highest price......the chance of selling goes down, no matter how you "buy" your listings. A store offers the cheapest way to consistently maintain a number of listings over 50. Depending on free offers works when they come and doesn't when they don't.
If you have high priced items, a store makes sense for the lower fvf fees.
Certainly stores aren't for everyone, but they are a vehicle that can be used to your advantage IF you make a calculated decision on how to use them effectively.

Aside from a few extra features, an eBay store is really nothing more than a subscription that provides you with a different fee structure.
A seller can either (a) do the math and find out whether it benefits him, or (b) not do the math and wonder whether it benefits him.

Closed my basic store. No views or buys Couldn't see filling eBays pocket for no sales or views. I don't like the direction ebay has chosen to go. I will still sell some on ebay but there is no benefit for a store know one goes to. Just a name.

On this account, when I used only 50 listings a month, I sold between $100-$300 a month. If I pay $22/mo for a basic store subscription, I sell between $300-$500+ a month. I don't mind paying a bit of money to make more. The more I have listed, the more I sell, since I sell niche items that need to be available 24/7 in case the right person comes along.
Everyone has to do their own math and see how it works out.

FYI - I (20 year eBay vet) just spent over a year building up a eBay store and due to their recent changes I have now shut my eBay store down and started selling in other venues. eBay appears to be making it very difficult for the smaller (OOAK) one of a kind sellers. That being said, depending on what you are selling eBay and a store subscription may workout for you although I HIGHLY recommend that you don't put ALL your eggs in one basket.
