Store opening information.

I had a store on Ebay and closed it.   Recently started selling again.  Would like to open a store but was told I would lose the Feedback (I have over 900).   Was wondering if this is correct?

If you subscribe to a store under this account, you won't loose your feedback.

Your feedback score is not affected by whether or not your account has a Store subscription.  You can sign up for a Store subscription with your current ID and you will keep your feedback history.  The customer support rep must have misunderstood your question.

If you sign up for a new ID, then that new ID would start off at zero feedback.

Hi.  been told that if I open a store under my present account I won'd lose the feedback.

I'm confused and scared to open the store and have to start at 0.

The person that told you that is wrong.  If the store is opened under your current account your feedback won't be affected.  However, if you currently have selling limits, opening a store won't increase your selling limits so if  you are only allowed to list a small amount of items each month, you  might want to wait on opening a store.

I'm not positive what the meaning of the first sentence is, but it sounds like you think your feedback will be wiped out if you start a store with this ID.   This ID I'm using has a store, but I didn't start out with one.  My feedback total wasn't affected at all.   Only a new ID would start at zero.

Right, the feedback stays with the account and it doesn't matter if you have a store or not.

Subscribe to a store under this account and your feedback stays the same.

@alemart12That doesn't sound right. If you stopped selling as a store but are still selling under the same account info, etc, I don't understand why you can't upgrade to a store again. You didn't close your whole account? You just stopped using the store subscription, correct?

No, I did not close the whole account.  Only the store......

Just add to Store Subscription to this ID and everything with your account stays the same - except, now you have a Store.  Good luck.  No worries about FB.

You won't lose any feedback opening a Store with this account ... BUT you'd be losing money!

eBay will treat you like a new seller until you've reproven yourself ... so you won't be able to make use of the perks you get with a Store for at least another 90 days.
