You can start with items you have around the house that you do not need.
You can also start with items you have some knowledge about.
I started with items from Disneyland because I live less than 5 miles away and I visit the park once a week (but not now since it closed back in March due to the pandemic).

I'd recommend starting with items that are low risk. Maybe something that isn't too costly, just in case you would have to refund or provide return shipping for a buyer.
So if anything were to happen to it, such as getting damaged in transit, getting lost, etc., it wouldn't be as big of a deal.
Maybe sell some items that you don't care about or don't want.
And I do agree with disneyshopper. Sell something in a category you know well of so you'll have no problem listing, answering questions from buyers, and possibly gaining a good reputation of selling certain items.
