Sports card authentication

I recently sold a card that went to Saratosa, FL for authentication. Usually when i buy cards it’s only at authentication for a few business days. My card i sold has been there a week and has shown in tracking that authentication has received the item.  Seller is getting worried. Has anyone had sports cards go through authentication take this long to authenticate? Customer service for eBay got me nowhere, surprise….

Given there ALOT of trading sports cards on Ebay, 

the authentication department may be a bit back logged.  Another person posted the same thing earlier this week.  10's of thousands of cards are arriving daily could definitely put one behind. 

Hopefully they'll pick up the pace and your card will be delivered to your customer.

I understand that, the concerning thing is the buyer and myself have bought cards that went to authentication at the same place that arrived AFTER the card that hasn’t moved got their and they were processed in 2 days and shipped out. I’m thinking it got misplaced.
