I'm trying very hard to find out what it is. My sales have dropped to almost nothing. Could it be all the changes ebay is making? Everyone says clothing is a saturated market, but it's not more saturated now than it was a few months ago. Something else is wrong. Offering free returns, 3 day guarantee deliver and free shipping does not make any difference. Things weren't that bad until a few months ago, now no sales. I'm wondering if it has something to do with the UPC codes. I've called ebay a few times, and they don't even know how anything is suppose to work, how are we suppose to figure it out? I guess I'll sell this inventory and move on.

Just be a little more patient is my advice . I've said the exact thing you wrote here a 1/2 dozen times already and sales always eventually start to improve . Dry spells just happen for most sellers and nobody ever has any real answers as to why they do. Just use this off period to spruce up your listings , add a few more items , start a few sales , etc etc and I can almost promise you sales will be back . Remember the holidays are on their way and so there's another reason to be optimistic . Tulips

P.S . I just went and checked out your listings . I didn't see them all but I noticed that you have a lot of summer clothing , shorts , short skirts , bathing suits . I would lower the prices on those things just to get them moving since warm weather is over for now or put them away until next Spring . Then I'd consentrate on adding more Fall and winter stuff . That may help bring back the sales too . Tulips

I hope your're right, but I've never seen it this bad. Some people say it's the changes and the catalog, I feel like it's going to get worse.

You've sold 11 items so far for October. Way more than I have.

I've only actually sold 7 items, those other listings were closed.

I doubt buyers are looking up UPC codes to find your items in clothing. Buyers don't notice changes made that apply to sellers so it is not that either.

Tweety, while some folks here have some good ideas, nothing will bring your sales back to what they were. This is what happens in retail to a bad location. Some fail, most shrink and stay that way, and a very. very few actually make the required changes and show real growth again. Because of all the various problems combined eBay has become a bad location. Good luck to you and everyone else that is still trying.

Tweety............this may be "just my laptop" that doesn't show the light colored items well....... the tilt of the screen can/does make a difference, but I can't get the pictures with much contrast..... Perhaps others can affirm it's my problem....or not. I also wonder how well they show up on mobile, but don't use a smart phone so can't check......
Might be something to improve, though......at least going forward.

...colors and black on white looks good. A little more light and try a black backdrop for the white items...

I think sales are down for most sellers. I still sell but at a much lower rate than before. I have so many unsold items right now and I never get free listings anymore going on 2 years now since I have had an offer. I just do not understand ebays logic. I wish they could go back to their original format but someone keeps making decisions that seem to make it worse. I hope things will change for the better.

I know that, I'm referring to the changes that ebay is making for those using UPC codes to match with the catalog. I feel like my listings are not beng seen because of that.

I've been where the OP is concerning slow sales .There was a few times I seriously considered giving up . However I waited it out and things improved . This last three day weekend I made 9 sales on e bay and 5 on my other selling venue[ very good for me] and I'm selling the same type of stuff I've always had available . I believe there are quite a few things the op can do to help turn it around . Tulips

Just try a few of the suggestions , use the promotion option if you want ,, and wait and see what happens . Tulips
