I want to list items from my collection of various slide rules. What I would find very helpful would be a list of similar items and what they sold for. I could then maximize my selling price. I can list it but is there any way I can get that information to put in an excel spreadsheet? Ideally being able to see info/data on all "pickett" slide rules for the past 6 months. Thanks!!

Do a search.
Then click on "sold" items.
Whatever you searched for, it will show you what sold and for how much.

Explore Terapeake........look under Research Tab in Seller hub........put in the search term and it can show sales from up to 3 yrs...... BUT I also urge you to search the Active listings........to see how many are listed and at what price......

Check off the Sold box on the left side of the search page.
You can also go to Terapeak.com through your seller hub / research

You could also try: (for a longer lookup period)
Seller Hub ---> Research Tab
Choose Terapeak from the dropdown
Enter "pickett slide rules" in the search box...
you can get a couple years of sales
the problem is, I do not see a way to download a .csv from the report.....

Don't assume what you see under eBay sold items is true though. I try to do comps that way and MANY do NOT show that a best offer price was accepted. They just show the listed price is what the item sold for. Comps are difficult because of this. I know this is the case because as a buyer I may see something I purchased when the seller sent me an offer but the item will show as sold for the listed price. It would be helpful if eBay would change this.

eBay allows you to search sold listings for the past 90 days. If you want a spreadsheet, you will have to create it yourself.

Keep in mind when you read the historical data, that Ebay buyers do not visit the site every day or every week or even every month. There can be long periods without a buyer who will buy any particular slide rule.
Also keep in mind that many sellers have no clue what price to ask for these items and may underprice or overprice their items. The same can be said of some buyers.
The price history you see is an instantaneous snapshot of the market and may no longer be accurate after the sale was made. It may have been to the only potential buyer to visit the site looking for it in months. It may have been to another reseller who bought it for inventory.
You need some context and knowledge to determine what you should do with these data points.
An external site, Worthpoint, publishes data which is often years old Ebay sales, and regularly includes the low prices other resellers have paid for rare and valuable items.
At least when you use the sold results on the search, they are only the past 90 days. But 90 days in an inadequate period for many items to sell to a retail buyer.
