Sold Items Still In My Active Listings

I have recently notice, that when I sold a item, the item remains in my active listings.  When I click on the item, it states the item is sold, however remain in active listing with a active listing count number total.  I also see the item in All orders. I had to manually delete the sold item out my active listings to bring the number down. In the pass ebay would automatically remove a item from the active listings once sold. Is this another ebay scam on sellers, if sellers don't manually delete items sold from their active listing, those sold items will be counted to sellers listing total??
