Shipping to authenticator

I recently sold a card that needed to be authenticated and the shipping address is the customers address. Is this correct or should it have the authentication address?

Has the buyer paid?

When the buyer has paid eBay will provide you with the Authentication  address.

Yes the buyer paid. The shipping label I was given by Ebay only has the buyers address and unfortunately I had already shipped before noticing because this is my first time with an item needing authentication.

How do you know it's the buyers address?

It is addressed to a business that is the same name as his account.

Re: Shipping to authenticator

I figured it out thanks for the help. I didn’t notice the second address on the label that must be the authentication. Like I said this was new to me and was really stressing me out so I must have overlooked it.

Re: Shipping to authenticator

Happened to me once, I asked eBay about it. They said it's going to customer address because eBay Authentication can't deliver to PO Box.  I think I've had eBay Authenticated items delivered to PO Box before, but I'm not sure.  Anyway, they told me to ship to customer address and I did.  The customer was happy with the item, but I don't know if eBay made a mistake or if the reason is correct about shipments to PO Boxes. I thought ever card $250 or more goes to eBay Authentication and then to customer.

If it's a PO box, it goes straight to the buyer.

Have a great day.

Whoa! Does that get around the 'final sale' no MBG that would normally apply after authentication? Seems like a great way for scammers to pull a fake tracking NAD return. Looks like I'll have to block PO boxes on some listings.
