So, i made a shipping lable through ebay , i then went to my local post office and was told that my package was 1lb to heavy for the shipping label i had printed. So i just bought another shipping lable there at the post office and sent the package in its way. Also added the new tracking lable to the item, but for some reason it is still using the old tracking number (i also voided the old one yesterday). Now the item has been shipped, and according to the old tracking number it hasnt. WHAT CAN I DO?

My post office told me they couldn't do what yours did.
I had one that was light (they bought 2 items but the weight was only for 1) and I made a special trip to the post office and she told me they couldn't do anything with online postage and that the system would adjust it. She took the box but wouldn't allow me to pay more for postage, telling me that the system would charge my account.

Yep - if you understate the weight, it will be added to your ebay invoice.
The OP should have just let it go through and told them that. But if the counter person doesn't know this, they probably wont believe them.

You may have to call ebay to get the old tracking # removed and the new one changed to the main #.
Good luck with that!

Find the transaction, select edit next to the old tracking number. Enter the new tracking number and select save.
