I sold a pair of shoes. It was right before Ebay started managed payments. I purchased a FedEx shipping label though Ebay but it went through PayPal like it always does before. The shipping total through Paypal was $9.90 which I see on Paypal under activity, but looking at my financial statement in seller's hub shows that I was charged $9.10 for a FedEx shipping Label Fee. In other words, it looks like it cost me almost $20 to ship those shoes which means I lost almost $5 bucks selling them. Anyone have any idea what this is or if I am correct?

Oh, also wanted to ask, why bother to have managed payments if we still have to go through PayPal for our shipping labels?

I would think that you were charged only under PayPal and not double charged. Im not 100 percent sure though

With Managed Payments EBAY "holds back funds for shipping" so you can print label immediately. I assume if you don't use Managed Payments when printing label...that this money would go back to you.
When you print label (you can change your preference) to PayPal or Managed Payments (go to check box at bottom of page).

Is eBay now charging a label transfer fee? I was charged this and just wanted to know if anyone know if this is a new fee? Thanks.

Ebay only charges you for the cost of the label. There is no extra fee.
When you print out a shipping label, down at the bottom of the page, you have 2 choices:
1) Pay for your label with your managed payment funds.
2) Pay for your label with paypal.
You must have had paypal selected for the transaction in question.
