The info in green just started showing up on my listings:
Checked several other sellers' listings and it's not displayed on theirs. IMO it gives buyers the impression that I ship on time only 74% of orders within 5 days. And that couldn't be further from the truth.
There's no way that ebay can accurately predict carrier shipping times, so I can't help but wonder who, exactly, is being served by this kind of info. It appears in green but it gives the impression of being a big red flag.
Thoughts?

I've seen this baloney here and there a few times recently, and I would have to assume this is another one of Larry and Curly's projects that they dreamed up while Moe was on vacation.

Is it possible that it means that delivery of items such as yours arrive within 5 days at their destination, 74 percent of the time?
Whatever the case, I agree with you, a buyer in a hurry could read this as a shipping date, not a delivery date. Despite the fact that green suggests "positive."
All in all, potentially very confusing.
PS: I checked a couple dozen of your listings and did not see the new "feature."

I agree that's what it is supposed to mean, but that might be a valid concern that some potential buyers will not understand that it's about delivery within 5 days. Also, 74% means that 26% take longer, which IMHO isn't a great record so it's not something to advertise. But like you I don't see it on any of the OP's listings.

I read it as they receive their orders 74% of the time within 5 days, not 7.

Might depend on where the buyer is located if they see that message or not?

I don't see that on your listings.

I see it on 3 out of the 5 listings I looked at. I also saw different percentages.

I see it using incognito mode with both Firefox and Chrome. I do not see it when signed in using Firefox and Chrome. Could it be another eBay test?

This is very "Temu Like", they have a similar notice, goes along with their "If not delivered by xxx you get a $5 credit" (eBay had a similar thing a few years ago....."fast or free").
