Buyers claiming they ordered (e.g.) 10 items but only received 5, etc. I had this happen a month or so ago, and now again today. I distinctly remember the package in question because I've only sold 2 of these items in three months; I also use a unique envelope to ship this particular product in, and totally different envelopes for all my other products. I also had a copy of the shipping label which showed the total weight, which I gladly shared with them (because it would be nowhere close if I had "shorted" them). The first time it happened, I explained all these things to the buyer, and they almost-instantly replied with something like "Oh, yeah, I did receive that!" No crap, you did! We'll see what this one does. Annoying. Thanks for letting me vent.

I have a buyer that has ordered from me 9 times in the past 2 years. Never any issues. I might add that he lives 5 minutes away from me too. Anyway, he recently ordered a 2" x 12" strip of Velcro. I shipped it out in a 10" x 13" envelope and he received it the day after he ordered it. He messaged me saying that he ordered a 2" x 12" piece but that's not what he received. I know he's FOS but I play along and ask "what size is it?". He tells me it's only 8". I tell him sorry but I do have a listing for 2" x 8" that would ship in a 6" x 9" envelope and being that this was just yesterday that I mailed this out to you and it was the only flat envelope I had, I remember it well and you should remeasure. He never responded back and left me a positive feedback "excellent seller A+".
I think / I know people are hurting financially. Prices are going up on everything/everyday. I don't understand the attempted scams for $10 though. BTW, I blocked my 9-time customer.

That's pretty much the same as mine; claim they only got 15 when they should have gotten 30. I don't sell packs of 15, or packs of 5. I actually exchanged multiple (5+) messages with this buyer, prior to purchase, because they could not figure out how to get the discount (or so they said), so I ended up making a new listing just for them, with the discount applied and the quantity they wanted. I did a lot of communicating and work for them, then they turn around and try this. It was delivered almost 20 days ago too. Unreal.
I get the financial hardship. What I do not get is if you are struggling that much, why would you gamble with purchasing something and hoping you can get away with your little (partial) refund scam? I guess people fall for it, that's why they continue?
