Is it pretty safe to sell a used PS5 on here? I see a lot of stuff with buyer scamming, has anyone actually had a smooth transaction with selling these?

Absolutely no one can guarantee the safety and security of any eBay sale.
But. as a new seller, you might want to start off with listing something where your loss would be a little less traumatic if something happened. Or even start off with buying a few things just to understand how eBay works.
As a new kid on the block, with a popular item for sale, there is a target painted on your back for scammers to crawl out of the woodwork.

1) Not for a new seller.
2) Yes... seasoned sellers.
Good luck.

LOL...NO
personally, I'd use a local marketplace for that. It's a high demand product so should sell quickly.

As a new seller, I would not advise selling something that expensive.

If you need the money, I’d strongly advise a pawn shop or your local Craigslist.

Can you afford to lose item and all money paid for it??
If not do not list such on the itinerants for sale.

Just a heads up. This is not a site to make quick money. You won't receive your funds for 30+ days if you haven't sold anything before on eBay or for a while.

UPDATE: Thank you for the replies, I’ve decided I’ll sell it local. 👍
