Selling limits

I have a selling limit for the month of $25,000. I have an item that I would like to sell on eBay but has the possibilities of going over the $25,000 threshold depending on bids. What happens if the item goes over that limit?

It is a listing limit not a selling limit.

It doesn't matter what it sells for.

New member selling a $25k item?

Please don't do it.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

@chcege_0

If it's a card like your other items, there's a good chance you'll loose the payment and the card.

No way would I sell something worth that much on the Internet.

Are you familiar with how the eBay Money Back Guarantee works?  For instance, do you know what will happen if your buyer claims you sent them an empty box?  a counterfeit item?

Do you know if a buyer should want to return the item to you, and the sends you an empty box? or a wad of newspaper instead of your item?

When you can answer these questions ^^^^^^ and realize you have a very good chance of losing the item, and any proceeds from the sale and still want to risk it, then it is on you if you get taken by a crook.

Never sell anything here unless you are prepared to lose it.  Low feedback ID's selling high dollar items are SCAM MAGNETS.

Be very careful.

The $25,000 selling limit does not automatically make them a new seller. Thanks for your short sighted opinion.

No, but their feedback and items sold do.

Hi, there are essentially three limits: limits in dollar amount sold, limits in quantity sold, and category limits. It does matter what it sells for. Once the dollar amount is reached, the seller will not be eligible to list or sell until the following month when the limits are reset.

Ebay is not the venue for selling pricey items.  New sellers especially are targets for scammers.  If you can sell locally a bird in the hand....
