I was just curious with anyone who has sold laptops here on eBay. I have upwards of 300 various laptops. Is it better to sell them as a single bulk lot with various models or should I break them up per their manufacture so one listing be Novo, another listing, BHP another B deal and so on or would it be best to just take all of those and put them in one post. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time

I'll give you a useful reply as someone who HAS sold and occasionally DOES sell used laptops on eBay. From 2004 through about 2010, a company I co-owned sold thousands of laptops on eBay. Selling conditions were slightly better back then. I wouldn't consider selling nice laptops here anymore.
Any laptop that you believe has value selling as an individual laptop for a fair price should NOT be sold on eBay. First, good laptops are a target of scammers. Second, if you have 300 laptops, you are not likely going to have time to test them in real-world use like a buyer. Used laptops cannot be trusted to outlast eBay's buyer guarantee. The two most common issues that can escape your best efforts of quality control are fans that fail or become noisy and batteries that either fail or simply don't meet buyer expectations. I have seen hundreds of laptops over the years that appear to have good batteries, but during use will work their way down to some random percent like 62% remaining, then the laptop shuts off.
INADs, scammers and whiners are not worth the time, wasted money and frustration to sell laptops here. I don't know what the local market is like in Omaha, but here in Pittsburgh, good laptops sell locally just fine. I price them on the low-end of what someone could find it for on eBay, but there are no fees, no shipping and no returns.
As for laptops that have problems, those sell fine on eBay in lots. I like selling lots of 4 because the weight and box size and packing are easy for 4. I recently sold a lot of low-end laptops, item# 305149887537 in "parts or not working" condition. The format of this ad has been effective for me.
You used to be able to list lots in auction format and buyers would bid them up to great prices, but that seems to have died right around the time eBay claims to have eliminated bot views. Now, just do a BIN for what you want or high BIN+offer option. If priced right, they will sell and the buyers tend to be decent.

Selling laptops can be problematic - period.
High buyer fraud. Low prices on many older laptops. O/S and licensing issues if you are not a recognized refurbisher. AND read the insurance limitations on your preferred shipper. Laptops have limited insurability.

Sell them however you wish, but be prepared to show eBay acceptable, detailed receipts for them. A comparatively new seller listing hundreds of laptops it going to catch the attention of eBay, for reasons which should be obvious.

as they are not new laptops, some of them are much higher quality and newer than others but a lot of these would be for someone that could fix them up or use parts

I would sell only one a month to play it safe.
And see what kind of a sale it turns out with a buyer who is either happy or not.
And to not draw attention to selling so many laptops. You don't want to create any problems with your eBay account.

I appreciate that but that would take 12+ years to sell the laptops and they just don’t stay current for more than a couple years as it is I just yeah that doesn’t make sense to me. Sorry I appreciate it but with technology, and how fast it evolves, there’s just no way to sell one a month

None of that matters. Electronics, especially laptop computers, are among the most-commonly stolen items sold on-line. eBay, and other marketplaces, are under pressure to help stop the sale of stolen merchandise on their platforms. Be prepared with receipts to show that what you have was legitimately obtained.

Ones that are not in good working order will be an extra headache, due to Not As Described disputes from buyers who either didn't read your description or thought that they might be able to fix it, but can't.
As for the working ones, you will be inundated with various scam attempts, not all of which you can successfully defend against (e.g. false empty-box claims, return-swap scams, etc.). You're better off selling those as Local Pickup only (no shipping) for cash.

Most of your buyers will break them up for you, and then request a return label.

Selling altogether in one giant lot will be problematic for quite a few reasons, one of which being that your buying pool will be composed mainly of other sellers.
And if some of them are nonfunctional etc, you don't want to list them in a lot with the ones that work.
Plus eBay will look very carefully at someone with that kind of items and you could be required to submit receipts for purchase.

so theft is what this would bring to the attention of eBay. Well they’re not stolen. I can assure you that. How did I acquire? So many laptops you ask I have an electronic recycling company here in Omaha. None of them have hard rides I’m asking people that have sold laptops on eBay in bulkif you have not sold laptops in bulk, please don’t respond to the post

Listen, I’m not trying to rip anybody off here. OK so quit thinking the most negative thing in the world and just stop this is absurd. It’s a simple question how have you had better success rates selling multiple laptops in bulk, regardless of the manufacture or keep them separate, and make the listing for parts or not working will diffuse that headache. Problem solved.

If you only want replies from people who have sold laptops in bulk on eBay, you're not going to get any responses.
