I recently sold a cpu that was missing a single pin, and mentioned so in my listing as I do not wish to mislead anyone. Ths cpu also worked perfectly fine as it was, even with missing the pin. The buyer has started a return request for the item saying I didn't mention that it was missing a pin and that it is defective. What do I do now?

The sale occurred on November 3rd. I have accepted the return.

I wonder if it is not showing up because I accepted the return?
I will definitely have a go at reselling it again, and will definitely be putting it in the title from now on.

Thank you all for your help in this situation.

I sold a DVD for Region 2 and listed that info in the header. In addition, I stated in the description that to play the movie in the U.S. required a region free player. The buyer filed a case and even admitted he/she did not understand what region free meant; I appealed, but lost. That was the moment I realized that , in the future, I would merely accept the return, BUT, that I would NOT permit a buyer to keep an item, even if I would lose more money on the return.

Definitely have not had to learn that the hard way thankfully. I did tell the buyer that I would refund the item once I received it and inspected it.

You can't note a defect only in the description as people do not read. You need to note the defect in the title.

??? That isn't missing a pin. If you are talking about the lower right corner of the photo, that processor is made that way with one less pin for it to fit the AM4 socket.
