Hi There,
I'm hoping someone may have some feedback on the following situation:
I have a domain name to sell and want to try listing it on Ebay.
How does Paypal work with a virtual product?
In other words, say the buyer purchases the domain name and then after the transfer is complete, can they just file a claim with Paypal (i.e. buyer protection for any situation) and get their money returned and also, get to keep the domain?
Any feedback greatly appreciated and hope you have a great weekend!
🙂

That is exactly what they will do in many cases which is why it is against ebay policy to sell nontangible items on the site like digital downloads and such. Check this policy page. Domains are not among the allowed digital goods. http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/downloadable.html You may can sell it in Ebay Classifieds.

Thank you everyone for your feedback! As a seller of a domain name on ebay via paypal, because there is no shipping information, I wonder how that part is handled for both buyer and seller protection?
Thanks for any additional feedback and hope you have a super weekend!
