Selling Drought

last summer and fall I listed a few items each week and was selling something almost every week.  In the last few months nothing has sold and it appears that the items are getting few if any views.  The items listed are similar to and priced similar to the items that sold well previously.  Any ideas what is going on or why the change?

I can't see any Sold items, but I see the Ended items (from Jan 18th) that appear to be relisted. The only input I have is that your frames are pricey after you add your s&h. Maybe folks are buying those at Walmart, etc., and leaving with them in-hand.

I'd do away with auctions and go with a fixed price.

People can go to any dollar store and pick up cheap frames and not have to wait a week just to see if they win.

Have a great day.

@wiltar_91

To be honest, when staple items such as eggs are at $6+ a dozen here in Ohio (I was in NorCal last week and they were about $10 per dozen), as an example, that leaves very little money for unneeded stuff. Like picture frames and Beanie Babies and dolls.

Sellers come here EVERY SINGLE DAY reporting a "selling drought".

Your item pricing seems high, especially for auctions.  You might want to revisit what you are charging for shipping too.  Some seem high and likely seem high to those that might shop your items.  Some of those frames can likely be picked up locally for most buyers for a whole lot less money overall.

Your pricing for the items and the shipping needs to be re-evaluated.

You also might stop doing auctions and just go to Fixed Price Listings for a FAIR price.

Are you still listing 'something' every week?

I list at least five every day.   If I skip a day then I do ten tomorrow.

Set a goal and stick to it.   It will pay off.

I with @kensgiftshop  your items are not suited for sale at auction.

I agree with others who feel your prices are too high, but too high for auctions especially and too high for used.

No reason is needed to explain why sales are few when you have under 20 auctions listed. This is not a season for buying other than necessities and bargains.
