The feedback at the bottom of your listings, at what point does ebay decide to show feedback on "this item" rather than overall feedback?

I don’t even know why that is needed….just takes up space like all the promoted ads.

I would say that ebay shows feedback for that specific item when there is some to show

Ok I figured it out.

if you have no feedback for that item, it just shows general feedback.

If you have at least 1 feedback for that item, it shows you feedback for that item.

I guess as a buyer it might be handy ... to see how others have commented on that specific  item.

As a buyer, I find it MUCH more relevant & useful than general random feedback for the seller.

It's tailored for Amazon Lite sellers who use eBay as another sales channel for their (yawn) commodities. It may be of some help to the rest of us who sell one-offs as a guide to feedback for similar items.
