I ran into this in the Seller Center just now (I was looking for something else)
https://pages.ebay.com/seller-center/seller-boot-camp.html
"Get 4 weeks of free online training on how to run a profitable business. The first lesson starts March 5!"
Whatcha think all?

Low numbers of sellers signing up? Ha! OK, sure.
Maybe like low numbers of sales of the larger ebay boxes and cubes? *SMH*
Deja vu ebay seller style!
Not sure if it's true but it was the only new info I came across. Frustrating, isn't it?
Love your ID name, by the way. Cute!

Good point a_c_green. I pretty much agree.
Timing is terrible. Maybe one offered in the summer when things are somewhat slower would be better as folks try to assimilate all the changes and are thinking forward to the holiday selling season....
With all the changes coming this year, letting the dust settle a bit may be wiser. I can see how they might think that. We are all very busy assessing the new hoops we'll have to jump through and seeing how each may affect our business....
Although I was very much looking forward to associated "camp" specific discussions! I have learned more from other sellers on these boards than I ever have from ebay!

And I concur: complaints were rife and rampant. The negative comments outweighed the positive ones by about 90%.
If you're referring to that list of about, oh, 10 comments that were added below the announcement details page, I agree, although I thought mine were rather mild. I was just puzzled by how the schedule seemed to be in the opposite of any logical order, starting as it did with a lot of overall big-picture, blue-sky stuff, and only getting down to the nitty-gritty of best practices for listing in Week 4. It just seems to me that it makes more sense to give new sellers a proper grounding right at the start, and then show them how to build on that and plan for the future as business ramps up. This boot camp seemed (judging only from the course schedule details given) to be doing that in reverse.

As if sellers need a boot camp in the first place. Many of us have been here for decades. Its EBAY MANAGEMENT that needs the boot camp! They should be required to source and sell here with their own money for a minimum of one year. If they dont turn a profit of over $5000 they should be fired on the spot never mind promoted.

All righty, well, I can now report that my first Base Camp email has just arrived. Go check your In boxes...

I just got my email
Timestamped 2:01 PM (Central)
I'm not seeing anything earthsahttering.
But they have set up a discussion board:

Truly I was not referring to any specific poster and certainly not to you (I like reading your posts, by the way). I apologize for any misunderstanding.
I was refeering to the fact that an overwhelming number of posters were dismissing the matter of a Boot Camp in advance of knowledge of what they were dismissing, and some of them (again, not you) were being unnecessarily unpleasant about it. While I understand that many people are unhappy with eBay (and that number would actually include myself), I still believe that I want to find out what is going on before I rush to judgment.
Your points about the ordering of Boot Camp issues was well-taken.
I received an email just a short while ago saying Welcome to Boot Camp, so I guess it's still on.

I signed up for the course early on but now get the registration closed message.
2 hours per week… read a few essays… watch videos… a chat.
I was ready to learn.

What is going on?

@a_c_greenwrote:I agree, though, that level of turnout aside, they probably had some big concerns about whether any of the associated "camp" discussion groups would simply deteriorate into complaining sessions.
There is no about about that. Hopefully for the few who come here starting topics complaining and blaming Ebay for lack of sales that they signed up.

Not sure. Read post 96.

Hi @frankipa20165 - Welcome to Boot Camp! You should have gotten your first Boot Camp in your inbox a few hours ago. Every Monday afternoon in March, you'll get a Boot Camp lesson via email.
We've designed the course such that you'll get lessons via email and through some video lessons that will be part of a special discussion board.
The discussion board for the first lesson is here: https://community.ebay.com/t5/Boot-Camp-Week-1-Know-Your/Seller-Boot-Camp-Week-1-Know-Your-Numbers/m...
I recommend that you read the email and do the assignments in that before jumping over to the discussion board. Thanks!

Yawn, less than impressive out of the gate.

I never saw a specific time or a morning timeframe promised and eBay often does training and webinars in the afternoon. I thought it would come around 1:00-2:00 pm PT but it came at noon. First week's content was a video from eBay Open.

I signed up for camp but still have not had an email or message.
Any ideas?
I would give it a little more time. My user ID and email address both sort alphabetically near the top of a mailing list; yours might be a little further down. It'll probably show up soon.
