Second Chance Offers

The item I put up for auction was sold. Then the winning highest bidder was paid for the item too. After that, I shipped the item. But in the paid and shipped orders section, within the action column, it shows that I can still give a second chance to another bidder. Why does this happen? Can someone explain?🙂

Re: Second Chance Offers

Sometimes a seller will have more than one of the sold items.  The bid amount of the second highest bidder is enough to make a profit, so second chance offer.

I typically have more than what I list, rarely do auctions.  BUT I'll frequently do second chance if the price is what I want out of the product.

Re: Second Chance Offers

Hi @trebdy_trading_worldwide,

Since you already shipped the item, there is no need to give a second chance offer.

For example, if the highest winning bidder wins your item, and doesn’t pay, you can offer a “second chance offer” to the second highest bidder.

But in your case, the bidder paid, so there is no need to give a second chance offer 😉.
