For instance, I search Ebay for P/N AHHB1P and it comes up none found. I go to Bing and do a search and it has an Ebay link. The Bing link works and finds the auction. I look up P/N CR245M211A and again, zero found. Bing has an Ebay link and it goes directly to the listing.
So I go to recently viewed and the AHHB1P is there and I click on it. The auction comes up fine. While on the auction page I copy paste the part number in the search bar.....Zero found.
I am really hoping that potential customers are not having the same issues where my listings are concerned!

Are you always so confidently incorrect?
Serious question.

Except it is.

My guy, it shows something for YOU. I and 3/4 of the viewing public get no results when logged in. I have an entire team trying to decipher the mess that is going on today. The search is broken, full stop.

Selling on eBay 20 years, I fully comprehend how filters and the search works. I probably know more about the eBay search algo than 99.999% of those on earth. It's broken.

I also tried several iterations of the name and part number, Marware, ceo, C.E.O et al. Also used "GE" and General Electric" on the other item. all had zero results. Logged out and logged back in. same result. See below:

Ok it's broken.
We can't fix it.
We're sellers just like you.
I suggest you contact ebay.

I didn't claim I could fix it. I also didn't comment in multiple threads on the same topic to tell people that it is for a fact working which will only cause them to waste more time thinking they missed something.
If nothing else the sales and traffic for today should be enough to tip off anyone with a decent amount of listings online. They are down due to this insane error.

I get 1 of the first number and '7 results' (although there are 11 listings??) of the 2nd number. Maybe fixed by this time of day? (5:57 pt)

I am not claiming the search is not broken, I am only telling you what results I see when I search.
If you are doing the exact same search and getting no results, then there certainly seems to be a problem somewhere. Perhaps each of us is connected to a different eBay server, and one of the servers is providing bad results (or both are).
It might be worth trying the same search on ebay.ca using your US shipping address to calculate shipping, and seeing if you get different results. US results might appear under "international sellers" rather than under the exact results, however.

If the problem is on eBay's end, eBay will have to fix it.
But if the problem is not on eBay's end, then you may be waiting a long time for a fix that does not happen. I find it is often worth trying a few things to rule out some common problems with a particular browser, device, network or account.

You would be correct and that is why we are here to help. In your case we are searching for you to help you out. I did not spend too much time on your findings your stuff for you, but checked 3 items:
BEST MATCH
transporter blu ray 1 of 239
the croods blu ray 1 of 472
moneyball blu ray 2 of 365
Congrats !!!! Ebay is showing your items up front and center. The problem is most buyers are not here to buy cases only, they want the disc also.

You are a hilarious person. For starters, we have about $100,000 in DVDs and Blu-Rays and sell them without a case for up to $100 regularly.
But this is not our business account that sells mid 6 figures.
Further, my eBay rep, not a random customer service agent, confirmed that the search was broken and escalated it to the tech team with a full report on behalf of us and the multiple people in the forums.
Cheers

Sounds like the problem can be intermittent and on/off different browsers...........so may be the reason for different results..........

With just the parts number, no other wording, I found the one being sold on the .com site doing quick search. I am using Mirco-Soft Edge. There is another post about someone having over 100 listings and can not see them when they do a search. Does not mean the buyers can't see the listings, the sellers for some strange reason can't.

"Believe me no buyer in the world would search that way."
I search for items by part number all the time....
