I just found out today if you have a store FeeBay charges you for a scheduled start time. Thought I paid extra for more benefits not less. LOL! Man I'm glad I was paying attention before I hit list.

I believe that Ebay charges a whopping 10¢ when you schedule a start time, at lest for an auction. If that amount is significant to you then maybe you need to rethink our margins.

They will also charge you for adding a 'Buy it now" potion on an auction-format listing.
Both of those options used to have a charge for all sellers. Then several years ago during an unpopular restructuring of the fee process, eBay decided that as compensation non-stores would no longer have to pay for Scheduler or adding BIN on an auction.

That has been in effect for more than 10 years, it was a perk given to non-store sellers, you know the ones that "eBay is trying to get rid of".
It's the same as the 50 free listing (now 250) that non-store sellers get that Store sellers don't.
Almost all your listings are Fixed Price so scheduling isn't of much use as it can be if you are running Auctions

I believe the fee is only applied to auctions - BINs you can set the start time without fee for the service.

The 10-cent fee for scheduling a listing appears among listing upgrade fees in both the auction section and in the fixed price section:

A store subscription buys you a DIFFERENT set of benefits.
It's up to you to consult the fee schedule:

On cards that sell for $1.50 ten cents is significant. Besides you totally missed the point, why would someone who paid for extra services, a store, pay a fee that a non-store holder doesn't?

Why though? If you paid for a "Store" why do scheduled listings cost anything? Greed? But I'm sure we all learned a lot from your reply.

It is stupid and annoying and ultimately may cost them money, but all these things has long been core values of eBay's business model.
