New user selling Rolex: you just are wanting to get ripped off.

Oh and japan movement in a Rolex is a dead giveaway for a fake.  Rolex be Swiss all the way...

Who is scamming whom???

As for your fees returned, you have been given the correct advice.

I don't know jack about watches, but I do know Rolex didn't have a quartz watch until the 1970s. Both those watches say quartz. If they're actually Rolexes, they sure weren't made in the 20s and 40s.

You are correct about quartz being made and it was toward the end of the 70s. The Oyster quartz is the only quartz line Rolex made and was produced about 25yrs. It accounted for only .14% of their watches and is very rare. Geneva was not one of them.

Both of these listed watches by the OP are fakes and poor ones at that. ( I'm not implying they knew that before listing) but they are so obvious to view with screen shot enlarged. Here's a little tidbit to read:

A watch from 1940 - 1949 with a quartz movement?  Uh, no.  Out by about 20 years, at least.

Interesting that the men's watch was (ahem) inherited from Grandma and the women's watch was inherited from Grandpa.

😆 Gramma and Grampa were probably on a trip to Mexico together and bought these watches there for around 5 bucks each. I actually know someone in town that does that because they don't want to wear their real Rolex while on vacation!

You also need to go through eBay's luxury  watch authentication program.  It will prevent buyers from claiming it's a fake.  Take notice of the comment that Rolex doesn't have a Japanese Movement.

A real Rolex does not say JAPAN MOVT on the front.   You are the scammer!

It seems like you may have launched your eBay selling career without doing enough reading in the Seller Information Center.

When a buyer has not paid within 48 hours of the end of an auction or listing, the seller can open an unpaid item case in the Resolution Center and has 32 days past the end of the listing/auction to do so.

Feel free to switch to whatever site you want, but be sure to read how it works first.

Well, let's be fair and assume that the OP knows nothing about this luxury brand of watch and was told they were grammas and grandpas watches.

He's been told NOW and he needs to remove both listings for if they sell ,OP will face serious consequences with his account. If OP doesn't believe what we as posters are selling, I suggest he take them ( as suggested) to a local jeweler. Guaranteed, they will both be deemed as fakes and should be destroyed.
