Beware all sellers. EBay can suspend your account at any time and not have to give an explanation. I made my first successful sale and they suspended my account so I could not enter my bank info and get paid. I talked to six reps about it and they could not tell that the account was suspended so we wasted hours of time opening new checking accounts to try and get it to work.
When a manager connected me to an accounts person, they told me that I was suspended and that according to the Ebay contract, did not have to tell me why! I tried twice with accounts and was treated rudely both times.
Now, it has been two months, I have not been paid for what I sold (over $1k) and have no idea if or when I will get paid. Probably have to go to small claims court.
This looks like a scam to hold onto money for making interest.

Thanks for the laugh! I sent EBay a very pointed letter...on paper!

It is not the banks. The reps tested the routing numbers as good. One manager discovered that the problem was since the EBay account was closed, no bank connection could be made.

Yes, that is correct, as i tried to impart in Message 23, two days ago. There is no way now for eBay to pay you. You haven’t gone thru the their verification process.
This is all on you, not eBay, for not following the protocol. You might find the rules to be counter-intuitive, inflexible or annoying, but to be able to sell here, one must adhere to them.
eBay selling isn’t for everybody. For a quick sale, i would recommend Facebook marketplace. As it is you may have to wait until the funds are sent to your state’s unclaimed money. (Since your sale exceeded the $600 threshold, you are also going to receive a form 1099K.)

It sure doesn't hurt. I have another account where they didn't ask for all that til I had over $600 in sales. This was back a few years ago, so things may have changed on new seller accounts.
