Hello
I am trying to sell a vehicle and shortly after listing this, I have had several people contact me expressing high interest and giving me several excuses and reasons why the conversation would be better held on email.
I also have had a very keen offer for full value and suggesting PayPal payment followed by pick up truck to collect vehicle
my spidey scam radar is tingling on high alert, yet I am not sure how this could go against me - is there anyone who can advise what the scam angle is here to help me avoid this clear danger?
TIA

Did you list it on eBay? You have no active, or sold, listings, on this ID??

Do some more reading about motor vehicle sales on eBay. They work differently than most other listings.
When you list a motor vehicle, buyers may express interest. The buyer should come to your location to inspect the vehicle, bringing money.
He inspects it, then decides he wants it, he hands over the money. You give him keys and title. He drives away. Paypal is not involved.
Or, he inspects it, decides he does not want it. Walks or drives away.
All correspondence about the vehicle before sale needs to go through eBay.
BUT PLEASE DO THE SUGGESTED READING.

PS: Now that I see that you're in the UK, would suggest you return to your home site for guidance because rules may be different.
And that is probably the reason we cannot see your vehicle listing.
