Your shop looks great!  Nice photos and good descriptions.  However, Pre-owned, vintage, clothing, shoes is a very saturated venue.  As a new seller I would also be leery of auctions.  You got some really nice items on there like those Channel boots.  Scammers love new sellers and those would be just the item to attract them. Perhaps if you just added all your listings at a buy it now fixed price, you may attract more buyers.  Some people don't like to wait for auctions to end.  Give them the experience of letting them buy it right away.  That way it's shipped quickly as well.  Good luck to you and keep up the good work.  ðŸ˜Š

What's a "vegan leather bag"?

And, even more interesting, what's a "vegan leather crocodile bag??

First thing I would recommend is revise those high priced auctions into fixed price listings with "immediate payment" required checked.  You have a low feedback and will very likely become a target for scams.

Are you using stock photos?  One item says with tags but the tags are not in the photos.  Very bad practice to not use photos of the actual products.

So there's no problem with listing a bag as "vegan leather"?

How about "vegan leather crocodile"?

Vegan leather is artificial or synthetic  leather rather than from animals like buffalo, etc.

For the Vegan Crocodile Bag, the shoulder bag has a scaly-like texture. I now see that that may be misleading and confusing so I removed crocodile from the title. Thank you!

Have never ever seen the word "vegan" used to describe something that's not edible.

And, IMHO, it's misleading to use the word "leather" in the title of something that is NOT leather.

That’s quite interesting. I always thought allowing auctions attract more buyers. I’ll  make sure to add my listings as a buy it now fixed price.

No, believe it not, "vegan leather"  -- which is to say, plastic -- is actually in use these days.  "Vegan crocodile leather" is plastic molded or printed to look like crocodile skin.

People who are vegans don't want anything made from animals but they also don't want to be seen as people who are using plastic;  thus, "vegan leather."   I find it hilarious, but that's just me.

I also found "fine Corinthian leather" pretty hilarious, too.  Corinthians were people, so those car seats were upholstered in the hides of people from the ancient world?   Really, Ricardo!!

I guess I am easily amused.

@soh.maryl  I'm not sure what that is either. I believe vegan leather means the animal was a vegan, well duh, cows are herbivores.  Now vegan crocodile is a tricky one...they'll eat an old rusty tail pipe if they can fit it in their mouth.  It's sort of like telling people that soy milk is milk.  Milk comes from mammals...juice comes from plants. It's just some kind of advertising campaign for dummies. Just my opinion. ðŸ˜Š

Thanks for the explanation.

Have never seen the term "vegan" used for anything that's not edible.

And, on checking, many purse sellers use the abbreviation PU (polyurethane) in their descriptions rather than vegan leather.

And, I'm with you on the "hilarious".

And the plastics are made from petroleum, a fossil fuel;  that is, the remains of plants and animals.   So "vegan leather" has dead animals in it.  True, they've been dead a mighty long time, but still...

Ditto, Maxine...if they called it polyurethane, which is what it is, it may not sell as well, so vegan sounds so much nicer and is a better advertising concept, but it's still a crock...no offense to the vegan crocodile. lol.
