Saturdays

What has happened to selling on Saturdays?!  Sat. used to be the same as any other day - hit or miss.  Now, for me, it's like eBay doesn't even exist.  This has been going on since Oct.  Weekends, overall, are terrible but, at least, sometimes, I get at least 1 sale on Sun.  Hope this trend quits soon!  At least, before  do.  lol   Good luck to us all.    🙂

I figure a lot of people  work 5 days a week . So when Saturday comes they're out doing  the things  they didn't have time for  all week .  Stuff like visiting friends , amusement parks , sporting events  or just dull boring things like a home repair task or just a trip to the DMV . Of course being busy didn't stop me from online shopping today  , it never does . I just got to it when we got home  🙂  Tulips

Hi,

I have not had a sale in 8 days. You have nice items, and I wouldn't worry, as it always does pick-up. It's hard to be patient sometimes though. Hang in there!

I've also noticed an upswing of sales on Tuesdays  . The only explanation for it that I can think of  is  a lot of people get their paychecks on a Friday . However after they deposit them in the bank  it takes the weekend up until Monday  for the bank to make the funds available .  Tulips

Sales have actually picked up  but that's  always pretty  typical  for this time of year.  I'm sure there's a ray of sunshine in the forecast  for everyone  ! 🙂  Tulips

Re: Saturdays

NOTHING to wait for, here, on Sunday.  Fortunately, made a nice $ total at the market for all the stuff I have that people don't want or is priced too high; by your judgment.

Re: Saturdays

Another sale-less weekend.  Needed only three more sales before Dec 20th to make the 100 transaction threshhold to get my TRS back, but no sales in 8 days, and I'm closing down for the holidays on the 12th.

Re: Saturdays

Across my two accounts I don't see much of a difference vis a vis Saturday.
It happens to be that personally, Saturday is the only day of the week that we are all home, nobody working or in school or at practice, etc. I usually pack away my laptop for the day so I can unwind with family. Maybe other people do too.
I do find that sadly today a lot of people actually browse and shop at work. Sad for employers and sad usually for clients that are at the mercy of under-performing staff sometimes. It's distracting.
